The Altar Guild is looking for volunteers that are willing to become part of the team in preparing the Altar for Worship. There are currently eight members and they are looking for at least four more members. By having twelve members it would mean that you would only have to set up the Altar for eight Sundays (these times are set up in four (4) Sunday increments) and these Sundays could be space six months apart. You will be trained by Corrinne Arveson and other members of the Guild. Please see Corrinne or call the church office for more information.
Please help us fill this void we need a volunteer to help on the third Sunday of the Month in the Nursery during the Worship Service.
Tim Erdman is looking for a few good persons that are willing to become part of his exclusive group “Guards of the Lawn”. He has recently being informed that Grace can no longer count on the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Labor Detail as we had in years past to assist with the lawn. To hire a Lawn service as many have recommended it very expensive and so Tim who is the Property Chairman finds himself in need of help. Please contact time so that he can tell you
There will be a new Inquirer’s class starting on June 08, after the worship service. This class is open to all those persons who are interested in becoming members of Grace. A light lunch will be served. If you have any questions please contact Della South. 817-292-8879 (home) 817-676-6770 (cell)

The Simply Giving Program®
What is the Simply Giving Program® all about? This program is a free service that is provided by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans and will allow the members of Grace Lutheran Church to make automatic electronic transfers from their bank account into the bank account of Grace Lutheran Church.
Why would anyone want to do this? This would allow those individuals who are away on business or vacation to continue their weekly or monthly contributions with worrying about whether they mailed the check or not. It may help others to discipline themselves to give on a routine basis, or it may be that the church offering is the only check they have to write since all their other bills are already electronically paid to a business account.
Will this system replace the typical offering each Sunday? Absolutely Not! There is nothing more sacred and humbling than offering our tithes to the Lord each Sunday.
How can we make an offering when we know that the money is electronically deposited? The Simply Giving Program offers you a sticker or tag that you can put in your offering envelope. When the money counters receive your envelope through the offering plate there will be a tag inside your envelope that says your contribution has been electronically deposited in to the Grace Lutheran bank account.
What do I need to do in order to get started? Contact Chris South for additional information at 817-292-8879.
Remember offerings are made from the heart in appreciation for what God has provided for you.
Paper Retriever Coming Soon
Environmentally Friendly The Abitibi Paper Retriever® program has been recognized nationally for its successful recovery rate. Abitibi-Consolidated Recycling Division is committed to providing this program since we are an end user of the paper we collect.
We need ALL Your ::
This month we will be studying another chapter in the series of Bible Studies? There are 12 study lessons in each chapter and we take one lesson a week. The neat part about all of this is that if you miss one week you can just pick up again next week, since each topic stands alone.
