Welcome to Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church

As members if the Body of Christ at Grace we all have a ministry.

 GRACE Purpose

Boldly reaching out with open hearts to plant the seed of Jesus Christ’s love.

 Grace Guiding Principles

Grace Lutheran Church was organized as Gustavus Adolphus Swedish Evangelical Lutheran Church in 1905 with Dr. Theodore Seashore as the first Pastor. The name was changed to Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in April of 1925. We moved our worship center to our current location in 1998, relocating here from the a facility on the South Freeway.

At Grace we want you feel welcomed and to participate in one or more of Grace’s Ministries, we offer:

We are only limited by their imaginations and the call from Jesus, our risen Lord. We continue to follow a vision for mission as we learn to be missionaries and evangelist and invite all people into our fellowship of grace in Jesus Christ.

ABOUT LUTHERAN CHRISTIANS

We worship God as Creator, Savior, and Holy Spirit. Out of love and mercy, God sent Jesus to save us and the world from sin, death, and the power of the devil. We accept Jesus Christ as God's Word incarnate, and  the Old and New Testaments as inspired by God's Spirit, announcing God's Good News to the world. Through the Word and the sacraments of Baptism and Communion God nurtures us in the family of grace, and sends us into the world with our faith active in love.

Our Mission Statement

"We, the forgiven sinners of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, are guided by the Holy Spirit to serve God and our neighbors and to proclaim the gospel through worship, prayer and praise until the day of Jesus Christ."
